We can’t gather at St Mary’s for our usual Sunday service, but we can all join a collective act of worship from our homes. You can do this at 9:30am or 11:15am on Sunday morning, or whenever else is convenient.
This Sunday, 19th April, is the Second Sunday of Easter. Welcome to our service!
You can now find links to parts of the service which Fr Jeremy has recorded on video. Our Youtube channel, containing our videos, can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCF0WRLKWtkgWJjZw_d4S6Mw
Today’s service follows the Book of Common Prayer, with readings from the King James Version. It starts here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mk0eruzRsa0
The Epistle is Acts 2, verses 14 and 22-32. Click the triangular play button below to hear it read by one of our congregation, Charlotte Every. The text is available online here.
Remote church is an experiment, an attempt to keep our community together while the Covid-19 virus disrupts our normal life. If you have suggestions on how to improve this, or would like to record part of next week’s service, please do let us know by commenting below or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Many thanks to those of you who attended last week’s Remote Church and left comments and suggestions for how it could be improved.
