Around 30 members of the parish had Christmas Day Dinner in the Chantry House. Starting at 12.30pm with canapes and drinks we eventually left at 5.00 pm. Our menu seen below, was accompanied by excellent wines.
Starter: Smoked Salmon, Prawns and Salad
Dinner: Roast Turkey, Stuffing, Sausages rolled in bacon, Roast Potatoes, Carrots, Brussels, Bread Sauce, Gravy.
Dessert; Christmas Pudding, Trifle, Profiteroles, Fresh Fruit Salad, Raspberry Meringue with Cream
Followed by Coffee, chocolates and something to keep us warm on the way home!
A very big thank you to Anne and all those who helped in any way to make this another memorable Christmas Day spent with friends.
