Call To Action

The Parish Church of St. Mary the Virgin offers you a warm welcome.

Services continue in our church on Sundays as usual: 8am Holy Communion and 9.30am Holy Eucharist. At St Mary's we continue with largely said services, with just the psalm sung by a cantor and some excellent organ voluntaries from our Director of Music. We give thanks for the falling numbers of new Covid-19 cases, but we continue to maintain strict social distancing and hygiene in church and encourage people to carefully consider their own health and that of those around them before deciding to attend. You can find more information on how to join in from your homes on this page: https://www.stmaryshenley.org/churches-open-for-services.

We continue to open for Private Prayer on Sundays until 3.30pm and on Wednesdays between 10am and 3.30pm and would encourage any visitors to follow the advice available. Please wear a face covering at all times, use the hand sanitiser provided on entry and on leaving church, use the anti-bac wipes provided to sanitise the pew / seat you use before you leave. Thank you for your co-operation. For more information, please click here.

We will be connecting with others in Henley to find ways of supporting those who are most vulnerable in these difficult times. And we will in the coming days be working hard to develop better ways of keeping in touch with our regular worshippers. Please keep in touch with Fr Jeremy and with one another.
