Henley Royal Regatta Service
The town of Henley-on-Thames is perhaps best known for the Royal Regatta which takes place in July each year. Rowers from all over the world compete in a series of races on the Thames, finishing close to the church. The Sunday of Regatta week is finals day, which begins with a traditional service of Choral Matins in St Mary's.
The Rector and Regatta Stewards each year invite an eminent visiting preacher to give the sermon. We are pleased to welcome a multitude of visitors to this well-attended service.
